“This place is awesome! The tented structure was awesome and the bathrooms attached to each structure were modern and clean. After just a few short hours of being there, the Maasai guards knew who we were and where our tent was. At night when it was dark, they would walk with with us shining a light to make sure we could see. The food was 10/10. “Absolutely loved our time at Basecamp. The location is perfect, at the edge of the Masai Mara, we heard the lions at night, while sleeping. “We had a fabulous stay at Sentrim Mara. Some of the other reviews did concern me before booking but I found this place to be good value for money. Also, the lodge was so spacious!
The staff are wonderful, Geoffrey was friendly and attentive at the restaurant, chef Nicholas was helpful with my lactose intolerance and there were many other wonderful staff too.
For my birthday the staff bought me a cake while doing native Maasai singing and dancing, it was a very memorable experience.
