「From the moment we stepped into this adorable cabin, we were impressed. It is so cozy, very clean, and has everything you need for a relaxing stay! It’s very close to everything in Decorah, and we especially loved going to the pool, the Whippy Dip, Mabe’s, and biking on the trail. This was the perfect place to stay while visiting grandparents! 」

「Our stay at the Heritage Hideaway was peaceful and relaxing. The location was perfect for accessing the Root River Trail and all the communities in the area. Troy stopped in to welcome us and we enjoyed a friendly chat. We’ve been to the area many times and definitely rate this property as one of the most beautiful, clean and comfy!」

「We enjoyed our stay at your trailer. No real issues. It rained the last day we were there and noticed water along the wall on the floor by the bed on the front side of the trailer. Not an issue for us but you might want to see where the leak is. Very nice location and lovely property. Plan on a return trip next year.」

「Owner was very responsive and accommodating. The cabin was great. The outdoors was so serene and scenic. We had a larger group with an extended family vacation and there was plenty room for everyone to sleep as well as room to spread out! We would definitely stay again! 」

「We came up for the weekend for our fanily reunion . The house is old & smells like an old house, which isn't a bad thing. The house was clean & tidy. We couldn't find the hot tub,but it was all good. We didn't spend much time at the house, except for sleeping & watching tv in the evening. Thank you for a pleasant stay.」

「Had a great time in this home with a group of friends. The game room was a huge hit and the home and amenities were just what we needed for the weekend! 」

「It was a very nice property. Lots of attention to detail, cleanliness, appliances, seating and bedrooms. All great. We used it for family reunion to tube down Upper Iowa River.Nice patio and backyard. Not an easy place to take a walk directly from the property.」
