「We had a very relaxing and enjoyable 3 weeks at Casa Mango in Chacarita, Puntarenas in Feb 2025, we wanted a small local place to see wildlife , relax and enjoy the climate and culture that is Costa Rica.The small private home is located on an estuary and we enjoyed watching the tide changes ,it was interesting with all the different types of birds and local fishing boats .We spent a lot of time on the shaded porch , usually we had a nice breeze, reading and dining, and just watching the...

「The property management is extraordinarily easy to work with. They have an extensive knowledge of the area. We have stayed multiple times and have never been disappointed. Scarlet Macaws and green parrots visit as well as numerous lizards and other birds. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing. Great place to relax and close to highways if you want to visit San Jose. 「Property is as described. It's dated but well cared for. The caretaker is great. PLEASE note. Last few kilometers of road are not paved...we had 4x4's was fine. Closest supermarket is a 40 minute - hour drive. Beach isn't the best for swimming but totally remote and private. We loved this place. 」
