「This is our 4th stay in Ottawa and by far was the best. From check in to check out we had a great time. The staff was warm and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent with good choices. Loved the fresh fruit and other healthy choices.」

「We enjoyed our brief stay. Room was spacious and comfortable and the price was reasonable. The best part was the location right on the Rideau Canal and lovely seating areas to have coffee by the water. Also the River Lounge on site had great food and service. The front desk staff were fine, but could have been a bit more friendly. Would stay here again though. 」

And of course the owner, Elodie, was such a wonderful and friendly host and took the time to sit with us every day to help us plan our activities for the day. 「Very good experience to stay. The room clean and big enough. With basement car park to make to feel my car safe to park. The washroom with show gel / shampoo & conditioner. The showhead was adjustable and water pressure strong enough. And there are also very impressive idea. Never see it in other hotel. A small night light in washroom. Breakfast with a lot options too.but the house keeper opened our door and come to clean up the room directly before we check out. This must be improve. 」

「This is rooming house accommodation. While the property was clean, I misunderstood the listing. I thought it was a kitchenette suite. Bathrooms are shared; kitchen is shared. Sleeping rooms are very small. It was quiet, the other guests were very respectful, and the manager was responsive and thoughtful. The name is a bit misleading, as there is not much heritage left in the old house. The location is convenient to the O-train at uOttawa, and buses; it is in a nice old neighbourhood full of...
