“This was a comfortable stay in a clean 1960s room at a dive up to the door 1 story motel. It was overpriced at $135 plus tax. We travel a lot staying in 45 hotels per year. For the 3rd week in Northern Maine at $85 this would have been a good place to stay.”

“I was pleased with the property and hosts. The property is quiet and comfortable. The porch overlooking the river is fantastic.
The problem came during and after check out. Our host said I was only registered for 1 adult 2 kids. I had reservations for 5 adults (2weee teens). Later she emailed me saying that because I was only registered for 2 she was charging my card an extra fee. Sure enough when I checked my card was charged again. I didn’t mind paying for the extra. I really had thought……

“This sweet cottage was the perfect weekend getaway for us -- peace and quiet, surrounded by nature -- ahhh. Sitting by the stone fireplace and catching fish in the lake right off the porch was so relaxing. Teresa and Bill will great hosts, too. We can't wait to return!”
