“Clean, comfortable, attractive room. Amazing view of the river. Worth paying extra for it. Breakfast buffet had very good selection and quality. Amazing service. Picked us up at train station and carried our suitcase to hotel. Did same on way back. One-minute walk to the bus stop. Would absolutely stay here again!”

“I came to Hacienda Roman knowing that in this part of Peru, you can't expect all the amenities like WiFi, cable TV, etc. If you go in with reasonable expectations, you'll be happy with this hotel.
The pros: Staff are quite nice. Food is tasty and available fresh on site. Personal attention, especially the tour of the coffee/jungle out back, is phenomenal. The entire stay was worth it just for this!!
The cons: Cooking is unbelievably slow; it took us no less than 1.5 hours to finish a meal……
