"We stayed 2 nights in Covarrubias. We originally planned to use the town as a base to explore the surrounds, but were enchanted by the charm of the town and didn’t leave during our stay. Cafes open around 10am and it’s easy to while away a day slowly exploring the streets, stopping for a coffee, wine or beer at regular intervals and having a lay siesta."

"What a beautiful week. From help with booking buses, arriving just in time to take our suitcases in the car rather than us pulling them up the hill, to kindly driving us to the supermarket, our host Alicia could not have been kinder.
