“Great location, 2 bathrooms is a plus!”

“What a wonderful property! The renovation of this old barn is something to experience. The windows and french doors let in lots of light and add a glow to the large plank wood floors. The great room is incredibly inviting and a comfortable gathering place to eat, play games, watch tv, or just sit and catch up (very comfortable sofas). The kitchen has everything you need to cook and share meals.Outside is a generous grass area with forest and foliage aplenty, sitting chairs and a table, and a……

“Very quiet and peaceful. Lovely hosts with horses and sheep. Similar interests in spinning and knitting. Denise teaches spinning so if you want to try your hand, she has extra wheels. Only negative for us oldies- bedrooms upstairs and bathrooms down with having to navigate steep narrow steps.”

“This was the perfect getaway, quiet, beautiful and super comfortable. Norma, one of the proprietors, was around to just have a nice chat with which was very nice. The "lobby" was so charming. You felt like you were coming home yet still on a getaway. We can't wait to return!”

“We really enjoyed our stay - the Farmhouse provided plenty of room for all 9 of us very comfortably.Communication and check-in were all very easy and the very clean property was very much like you see in the photos. Also, when we fired up the community fire pit and invited the neighbors to join we even met a family we had seen earlier at Small's Falls. Thanks for a great stay.”

“This absolutely charming farmhouse is everything to write home about. My stay was in Suite 2 (2nd flr), and it was like stepping back in time, but with all the comforts of home. The bedroom with wonderful views of the farm property, the large bath with walk-in shower, and the quaint sitting room were very special. It was so clean and bright. The bed was an adjustable queen bed. TV in both bdrm and sitting room with Roku and streaming apps. The air conditioning kept up well with heat, (and it was……

“Pleasant hosts and a wonderful setting in a woefully sub-standard (considering the cost) house. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay at the barn. The hosts we so nice and helpful. We would stay there again!!”

“This charming farmhouse was wonderful for our short stay in Maine. It was easy to get to, clean, and the hosts were very responsive. The kitchen is sufficiently equipped for light cooking.”

“The house was accurately described and was perfect for our summer family gathering in Kingfield. We had 5 adults, a 4-year-old, and an almost 2-year-old with us, and there was room for us to spread out both in the house and out back on the patio. The house is an old farmhouse with plenty of character. It's a short walk just across the bridge to Anni's Market, Longfellow's Restaurant, a coffee shop, and other shops. Brian was very communicative and responsive about checking in and answering……

“Host was incredibly easy to get in touch with. I made the mistake of not seeing the link of how to access the area. She came up and showed us how to get in. Very spacious. Lighting isnt the best especially in the shower, which might seem small to others but without my glasses I can't read haha. The downfall was there is no stove/oven. They provide a small hot plate to use but it smells up the entire area. Overall the stay was pleasant. Definitely stop to the L.L. Bean store if you stay here!”
