“We had a fantastic stay at The Abbott Brook Inn. The Sunroom Suite, as per its name, was filled with sunlight and extremely comfortable in every way. Great kitchen, bedroom and living room. Washer and dryer is there as well if you need it. The sheep, goat and chickens were delightful neighbors and the indoor swimming pool was an extra bonus and available all day and night. It's great to be able to go for a swim in January in Maine! Norma was friendly and gracious and we're hoping to experience……

“It was a great little cottage to rent. Very clean and well maintained property with just enough of everything to have a comfortable stay - kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials, extra towels and bedding. There were even lots of movies and board games for the kids. There is a lovely screened in porch, perfect for morning coffee and keeping the mosquitoes at bay in the evenings. The host was great at communicating and very accommodating. Location was great too - just out of the way to……

“The property was very nice however the furnishings were sparse.....no dressers or drawers in the bedrooms so only have the nightstands to place your items on; very thin drapes if there are drapes as many windows do not have any drapes at all and the sun comes in quite bright at 5am and throughout the mornings at this time of year; no towel rods in the bathrooms....only a few hooks; no microwave which was noted by another reviewer as well. “Great location for the ATV enthusiast. Located right off the trail and very close to a gas station you can drive your atvs to top off before your ATV adventure. The host was very responsive throughout our stay and the place was clean and organized.”

“It is a great location and the upstairs bedrooms are clean and comfortable. Our contacts were with the owner’s sister. She was eager to please. We left early because the house was not ready to rent in our opinion. If you choose to rent this house bring your own water for cooking and drinking. The kitchen is not set up for cooking. The oven ran extremely hot. One stove top burner was completely burned out, the others very dirty. Seating is uncomfortable either on wood chairs in the kitchen or the……
