“A very comfortable place to stay, really love all facilities and decoration. It's ancient but fashion one. The staffs are really nice and very helpful. I will love to stay there again. By the way, the breakfast and dinner are really delicious.”

“The location was perfect for all shops,pubs etc. Most of staff attentive and friendly. Our room was not as clean as it could have been but not terrible. There is plenty if parking but entrance is narrow if you have a larger vehicle. Bar area was family friendly with games provided and always seemed busy”

“Nice village hotel and our check in and room were good on the face of it. Other than the guy who checked us in, staff was generally rude. We had booked for breakfast at 08:00 on the first morning, and having travelled the previous day from Asia ended up waking earlier and found ourselves waiting in the breakfast room around 7:10, hoping to be able to request breakfast at 7:30 when it opened. We were greeted by a man in a hurry, brusquely telling us over his shoulder whilst rushing around doing……

“The owners were just amazing. She even did our laundry for us. She was so sweet. The bathroom was clean with updated amenities and the home was clean, quiet, and a wonderful place to relax. Love how close the home is to the pub.”

“We happened to be there during an epic heat wave and one thing I hadn’t considered was lack of AC. There was a fan in the room but the windows didn’t fully open so it was a bit miserable. Not the hotels fault - but def something to consider if you’ll be staying here over the summer months.”

“Second time staying at The Old House visiting nearby family and attractions. We will return as comfortable clean accomodation and really good walk in shower with taps outside the shower which is great. Staff very friendly and helpful . A few minor things were that there wasn't an information book in our room although we didn't really need one. Also glasses left on tables overnight and there were cigarette butt's on the floor and steps and broken garden lamps. Simple things that could be……
