「It is a travesty to call the Wiltshire hotel a spa. We had had a long day travelling and were looking forward to a really nice spa experience. We were given a locker key and a sad towel, no robe. The ladies changing rooms were a disgrace. Broken tiles, grubby floor and a section had been roped off. The pool area was dirty with broken tiles, and mould on the floor tiles. The jacuzzi wasn’t working, neither was the steam room. The hot sauna was good but the pool temperature was on the low side. ...

「Nice village hotel and our check in and room were good on the face of it. Other than the guy who checked us in, staff was generally rude. We had booked for breakfast at 08:00 on the first morning, and having travelled the previous day from Asia ended up waking earlier and found ourselves waiting in the breakfast room around 7:10, hoping to be able to request breakfast at 7:30 when it opened. 「Everything about this charming countryside retreat was what we hoped for and more. The staff was a welcoming and alsways there to help. The food was delicious and better than we expected. Our room generously sized, modern and comfortably appointed. (We did request a fan though as there’s no air conditioning, and the staff was quick to oblige.) 「Lovely location in a charming village, close to Castle Combe. We had a drink in the bar and dinner in the restaurant, both of which were great. The bed & pillows were excellent, and the host quickly supplied the top sheet we asked for. Fast wifi ticked the box. A little milk for tea or coffee would have been good, also the shower gel container was empty, but we would have no reservations in recommending the Neeld Arms for a stay!」

「The owners were just amazing. She even did our laundry for us. She was so sweet. The bathroom was clean with updated amenities and the home was clean, quiet, and a wonderful place to relax. Love how close the home is to the pub.」
