Mamanuca Islands Historic Hotel

"I'm writing this from the Tokoriki restaurant which abuts a calm sea with a view of the island where Tom Hanks hung out with a volleyball in Castaway. But it is not the view (which is spectacular), or the large villas right on the beach (which are amazing) that make this place a 5-star experience. "Tiny island paradise!! Stayed a week & couldn’t have stayed another, it was so sad to leave. Fell in love with the incredible staff, particularly Khatri, Sadrina, Mahns, Melea & Gabby. Nightly music so gorgeous. The feeling they create of ‘island home’ is something you won’t get at big resorts. Beautiful beaches, lots of wildlife, food was delicious - loved it & will be back.
