"The Garden room had very comfortable bed and pillows, and nice towels, a TV and small Fridge. View of river, with deck was nice. The building is old...older than it looks in pictures. Some of the furnishing in room looked pretty garage sale like. Room is small. Toilet is small and low. 2 sinks were nice, and standup shower, no bath. One thing that bothered me is that there was no sheet to protect touch from quilt. "

"This was a great place for my husband and me. It was super quiet, being the off season, and the little patio off the bedroom was nice for watching birds and listening to frogs in the pond. The kitchenette was just right for our needs. We like to go into Bellaire to grab coffee and a breakfast sandwich at Ruthann’s or get a meal at Short’s or The Corner Bistro. "The cottage worked out great for spring turkey hunting camp with lots of public hunting land nearby. It has a cozy atmosphere and the view of the lake is terrific."
