"Very unique B&B. Please note all rooms are upstairs, a steep, narrow case. We did not take in suitcases. Our room #8 had bathroom across a hall although we were told it was only ours. So a few unexpected twists. Bed was comfortable. Only one chair in room. Breakfast was tasty with numerous items available. Remote location with beautiful fall colors surrounding."

"We had a one night stay recently. We were on the newly-renovated 4th floor, which was very nice. The room was very clean. We were there early, so we went to the 99 Restaurants bar that was right in front of the Comfort Inn. Check-in was easy and the staff were very pleasant. Room was very nice. We did have an issue with the television, but staff responded quickly and solved the issue. The free breakfast in the morning was very nice. Pancakes, waffles (with fruit toppings & syrup), bacon, breads, bagels and muffins, fresh fruit, cereals, yogurts. Many beverage options. A very nice selection! Staff was right there to replenish anything that was running low. Parking was plentiful, and right in front of the entrance. Check-out was fast and easy. I would highly recommend Comfort Inn & Suites!"

"Overall, the stay was great and I would stay again (the setting is breathtaking, one of the most beautiful places I've been). I was just one person so it was plenty spacious and comfortable. A few details, in case these matter to you—the water pressure in the shower is not strong. I handheld the shower head right against my head to rinse out the shampoo. Second, the drive to the barn is absolutely stunning but the roads are unpaved, hilly, and curvy. My rental car handled it fine but I was a little nervous a couple times (at night and in the rain). Also, there is no tv (this is mentioned in the listing) but did want to confirm, the internet connection is good and I was able to stream things on my computer without issue."

"We had a wonderful extended stay at Jim’s cottage and truly came to love this little corner of Vermont. The property is peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature, which made it an ideal place to slow down and enjoy the summer. We spent countless hours on the deck, enjoyed the grill, watched hummingbirds, picked blackberries, and simply appreciated the quiet beauty of the surroundings.The cottage felt comfortable and wonderfully secluded while still being within an easy drive of the small towns, shops, co-ops, and local places that make southern Vermont so special.Jim was thoughtful, communicative, and genuinely invested in making sure everything went smoothly throughout our stay. It was clear how much care he puts into the property, and we appreciated his kindness and responsiveness over the course of our time there.After spending much of the summer here, it really began to feel like home. We left with wonderful memories and a great appreciation for both the property and the surrounding area. We would happily recommend Jim’s place to anyone looking for a peaceful Vermont escape."
