Silent Valley National Park (Core zone: 236.74 square kilometres (91 sq mi)) is located in the Nilgiri Hills, Palakkad District in Kerala, South India. The Silent Valley is the largest national park in Kerala.

The park is one of the last undisturbed tracts of South Western Ghats mountain rain forests and tropical moist evergreen forest in India and is part of The Nilgiri Sub-Cluster (6,000+ km²), Western Ghats World Heritage Site, recognised by UNESCO.

"Staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was very well prepared and served. The room lacked finishing touches like colourful cushions as shown in the lobby photo which left a very austere atmosphere in the room. It was comfortable enough. It’s built on a steep hillside so be prepared to have a good workout for the thighs coming and going to the restaurant and reception areas if you wish to walk; gold cart transport service is available if you prefer. "The pool was nice. But they were painting the floor by the pool so the smell prevented me from going to the pool Shower by the pool were not very nice Staff was not amways very responsive - had to ask several times for a towel and bathrobe Breakfast was great! Overall it’s a nice hotel Location is close to airport in a zone where there is nothing else. So takes min 30-40 min to get to town"

"Very much enjoyed our stay. Very efficient check in for our group of 6. One of the very few hotels that scan passports quickly rather than make photocopies. Rooms were excellent with a lot of attention to finer details. Lobby restaurant was excellent with great menu, very efficient and friendly service and great quality of food. We had dinner and buffet breakfast. Check out process also very efficient and friendly. Overall a great hotel with very good facilities, staff / swervice and atmosphere. "
