"Check in was fast. The room allocated to me was easily accessible and very spacious. The plumbing system needs to be repaired. I found something floating in the wc when I first got into the room. Thought the housekeeping did not do a thorough job, but after I flushed the toilet, the floating objects kept reappearing. It was rather disgusting. The hotel has a pub and food was good, service was great too. "

"This small hotel was perfect for our stay. The staff was so helpful and friendly, even pointing us the direction of a really good restaurant that we would have missed (thanks Alex!!). "This is a great hotel option right in the heart of Oxford. The street around it is a bit busy and slightly grimy, but once you step into the downstairs entrance to the hotel you feel safe, comfortable, and everything was fresh and tidy. Our room was on the backside so we had no street noise issues. The room exceeded my expectations for the cost in its charm and features. This is a great option for a midrange priced hotel! "Excellent service and friendly helpful staff. Excellent location, right next to the train station, plenty of free parking. Hotel was clean and warm despite it being freezing. Our room didn’t have an en suite and had to access our private bathroom across the corridor. Room was cosy, a little old fashion in decor but added to the charm.
