"The view was incredible! I could spend four days by the pool. It was great to have the shuttle (4x4) to the beach. It is not a swimming beach at all, but it is great for watching the waves and reading a book. Drinks were delicious, though the good was hit or miss. (The tuna tartare was incredible; the seafood platter was a sad disappointment.) The staff were very kind and helpful and there was yoga on the weekends with a transcendent view."

"Lovely Property with stunning views and plenty of room to admire the buaties of Costa Rica. The property is dated and could use some remodeling and ask for more money if they put in the effort. Communication with host was excellent and my family really enjoyed the location. Perhaps adding an A/C to the living room or better ceiling fans! Thanks we will be back."

"Unit: Extremely large, which is great for big families. The kitchen is very well stocked with equipment and utensils. Everything works. The laundry machines in the unit work flawlessly. The bedrooms are great. The washrooms are great. The water pressure is decent - as per another review we had issues with low pressure of warm/hot water but honestly not a big deal in a 30 degree climate. Balcony is phenomenal and views are outstanding. The elevator is quite quick with no wait times. The pool (actually two pools connected by a slide) is not large but nice and clean. It is usually empty and my daughter enjoyed it greatly. Beach: Playa Blanca is crazy good. We’ve been all over Costa Rica on several occasions and have much to compare to. This is genuinely one of the best beaches I’ve been to ever, and probably the best in the country. Note that you DO NOT have access to the beach restaurant, restrooms, lounge chairs, etc. So be prepared to bring beach towels to lie on and whatnot for your comfort. Not a big deal, but I suppose it depends on the person. We brought an infant’s camping chair for our youngest and our oldest didn’t care to sit still. There is parking (for a steep fee) but since the unit is so close, it’s best to just walk. Fair warning - the hill is STEEP. 35 degree incline, probably. Best to take it sober…Would I stay here again? Yes!"

"We stayed one week at the Punta Leona home. The house was very clean, had everything we needed to cook meals and plenty of outside seating to enjoy the pool and gorgeous sunsets! Our host, Wade was fantastic! Wade was very personable, quickly answered our questions, and provided several suggestions about excursions in the area. Our trip highlight was taking the one day cruise from Los Suenos to Tortuga Island where we had a wonderful experience. We snorkeled, swam and relaxed on the beautiful beach. The kids went on the banana boat ride and loved it! Another day the seven of us went zip lining not far from the home. We zip lined with the Carara Adventure Park Company and highly recommend them. Lastly, we recommend the Mangrove Monkey Tour and going to Manuel Antonio Park. Pura Vida!"

"We had never been to Costa Rica before so we didn’t know quite what to expect. Take the transportation from the airport. Once we got to the house, it was fabulous. The house is clean, and the staff are second to none. Every meal prepared for us was absolutely delicious. The views are spectacular and we very much enjoyed the infinity pool and the hot tub. The concierge service booked our excursions and arranged for transportation to pick us up at the house. We had 9 people in our group and created many beautiful memories for years to come. We very much hope to be able to come again and would definitely stay here again."

"We were in CR for a month and stayed here for five days. We loved the quiet gated community with a pool and plenty of wildlife. The villa was perfect for us with just a short drive to several beaches and markets. Mary has the house fully stocked to make your beach experience easy for travelers; beach chairs, an umbrella, beach towels etc. Our favorite part was watching the monkeys and macaws out by the pool in the evenings. We highly recommend this for those with their own transportation and the desire to be out of the crowds. "

"Casa Lujo Caletas was a wonderful home base for a long weekend attending a wedding at Villa Caletas. The house is comfortable, the breakfasts incredible, and was the perfect amount of space for 6 adults and 2 children. Unfortunately, like another reviewer reported, the upstairs hall had a sewage-like smell especially in the heat of the afternoon. Note for those with children - the plumbing is sensitive so nothing (toilet paper included) to be flushed. "
