Family Vacation

The water was our favorite feature. It was clear, shallow for the kids, and the sandy bottom was clean. We enjoyed it more than the ocean. The house was comfortable and well maintained.

Wedding Weekend

Westside Inn is a charming, homey, and perfect place for a family gathering. I needed to host a rehearsal dinner (for 50) for my son as well as an after party (an additional 50) and this place was stunningly perfect. There is an event fee but is was well worth the price because tables, chairs, and lights are included.. The house held our immediate family comfortably and all the extras provided for the dinner were great. Between Brandi, the house manager, and Susan, the owner's daughter I was well informed and made to feel welcome. I look forward to staying there again even without hosting a large event.

Beautiful Sunsets

House is old but has that visiting your grandmother feel. We enjoyed our stay. One thing I will point out is that there were bees in the house. I will be contacting the management company as this could be dangerous for someone who is allergic. They seemed to be in the house somewhere. We couldn’t find the nest, though. Location was fabulous. Mattresses have seen better days as far a comfort but they were wrapped in zipper bags and bedding was clean. Very ample parking. This place could be a showplace with a lot of upgrades. It’s not a luxury stay but it was comfortable. Loved reading about the owners. Side note: House is close to Blue Water Grill and Raw Bar. Food and service were excellent! Pros: Sunset Spacious Kitchen well equipped.mostly mismatched stuff but it worked. Well laid out Cons: Living room chairs need to be replaced Grounds need work Check in time was too strict for travelers. We were 20 minutes early and rental company made us sit in car and wait to get in after a ten hour drive. One kitchen towel and dish cloth for house this size and stay this long is not enough. Place Mats were very dirty. Needs another refrigerator. For a house that holds this many people there should be a garage fridge.
