“The staff were so friendly and helpful- providing extra amenities when needed, directions to local shops and restaurants, and even information on their new sister beach club house very close. The club house itself was AMAZING with pool side service and access to a beautiful, though work in progress, beach area— and free with our stay at Hotel Manteo. My (only) gripe would be that the black out curtains didn’t cover the entire window! Difficult to sleep in, though while on a beach vacation that……

“Loved the room. Clean, bright, quiet.. Most comfortable bed ever! Easy walk to downtown.”

“No problems with checking in - the guy was very nice and helpful. The hotel was only open for three months after being closed for a year and a half for remodeling. We were on the first floor (the elevator was broke, which didn't affect us) away from the lobby and had no noise issues, though we got there later and were getting up earlier. The hotel is right next to the beach with a short walking path through the dune at the corner of the property. Our room was a 2-full bedroom with a sofa bed.……

“Great spot right on the beach”

“We had a really pleasant stay at Mia’s Boutique Hotel. We stayed on the side that’s closest to the beach (not the oceanfront ones, as those were already booked). Location is very convenient and the front desk attendant was super friendly. My only piece of feedback is in regards to the bedding. The sheets and covers were too short, they didn’t allow oneself to cover their entire body. Also, the pillows could be upgraded. All in all, I would definitely stay here again!”

“It was very expensive and we were extremely disappointed. We expected much better for what we paid. Staff was not friendly. The property was run down not very well maintained. The room was clean. The view was nice.”

“This property is old but quaint. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom has an old-time sink and there is no flat space for the things you use in the bathroom. We were on the second floor of three but there is no elevator. The breakfast choice was unique and great. You receive a certificate for a local restaurant. Overall we would stay again.”

“They didn’t change the bedsheets, bed was dirty, water sink was broke, water not passing through, air conditioning not working properly it old fashion ac and it’s making noise all the time, it’s hard to sleep. Parking is so tiny and someone scratched my car. Fridge is not working, they put the coffee machine picture in website but it is not working.”

“Good location and nice rooms. Bed was comfortable. Beach is walkable and if prepared it is a short walk to a few restaurants. Check in is with a remote kiosk which is interesting but works. Breakfast is very basic.”

“The amenities were fantastic. It was nice to be able to walk right into the beach in the morning, spend the afternoon at the pool, and enjoy complimentary popcorn with the kids. The staff was fantastic and very accommodating when we arrived.”
