「The room was comfortable overall, but there was noticeable dust on some of the furniture, and the coffee machine could have been cleaned more thoroughly. The washrooms were in decent condition, though they appeared to need better maintenance. On the positive side, the hotel is very close to the beach, and the views were beautiful. Since we were only staying for one night, it worked well for our needs. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with a great location.」

「Great staff, very helpful! I had issues with my door code and was immediately moved to a different room which was appreciated. The rooms are sufficient and budget-friendly. The location is very convenient to shops and restaurants with a very short drive to the lighthouse and area beaches which is why I chose this hotel. I wanted to be close to top birding spots and was not disappointed!」

The bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean and well stocked with towels and was cloths. There were shampoo, soap, and body wash dispensers available. 「I never received my room number and door code. Fortunately a staff member called the office for me which is not on site. There is an office, but no one was attending it. The rooms are not exactly how the pictures portrayed them. The rooms are very small. What makes up for that is the close proximity to the beach access. I was overall satisfied with the room, but was unhappy with the size of it.」

The guy at the front desk was super nice and very respectful of my time. Got me in and out at check in super quick. The showers a little small, which was a little hard to get in as a larger person. 「Great Stay! I was a little concerned with past reviews but figured out that the bad reviews were from the previous hotel. This is a newly taken over Home 2 and what you’d expect from a great Hilton family! It is exactly what we were looking for! Beautiful Oceanfront room with a balcony, kitchenette and easy parking! Room was clean and staff was amazing! We will be back anytime we are in the Outer Banks area!」
