“We were looking for an comfortable overnight stay while we visited Elizabeth City State University. We were conveniently located within 5 minutes from the campus and near eateries and shopping. The check-in was seamless. The room was clean and gave just what we needed for a quick stay. ”

The price of the room for two nights at almost 450 a night did not match the standards that we were greeted with. If I’m paying this much for a room,……

“No problems with checking in - the guy was very nice and helpful. The hotel was only open for three months after being closed for a year and a half for remodeling. We were on the first floor (the elevator was broke, which didn't affect us) away from the lobby and had no noise issues, though we got there later and were getting up earlier. The hotel is right next to the beach with a short walking path through the dune at the corner of the property. Our room was a 2-full bedroom with a sofa bed.……

“My recommendation is to avoid this property until they can implement significant changes. The room seemed to have not been rented in a long time so not sure if it had not been cleaned/checked in a long time or they just did the bare minimum when they cleaned it for turn over to next reservation. Dead insects in the bathroom floor and a shower and sink area that had clearly not been cleaned. (Something resembling blood spots in the sink) Damp/dirty bath towels folded on the bathroom shelf.
