Mapperley Colliery Branch All that is visible now, looking west from the Park Hall Bridge, is a track crossing a field, but until 1966 a mineral railway serving Mapperley Colliery ran here.

Mapperley Park. A small cluster of buildings where there used to be a brickyard is all that remains at the area known as Mapperley Park. This view across the field flanked by a row of trees is westwards from the rear of those buildings towards the site of the former Mapperley Colliery. At one time a tramway ran across here from Mapperley Park to the colliery but it is now all farmland.
