Great overall location. The canal was not good at all. Fishing sucked. We had fish in a bait well in the water and they died! The house was dirty Broken tiles. Iguana feces all over the pool deck and dock. Pool was dirty.

Pros and cons

The picture’s definitely did this property justice. Pros: plenty of space for our entire group. Direct access to the gulf. Fish cleaning station. Plenty of room to dock two boats. The pool was very refreshing after hot days on the water. Location was perfect. Very close to anything you could need. Cons: Over priced! While this home had a few ungraded aspects the bathrooms need some major TLC. The style of knobs were very sharp and required a wash cloth to turn on and off to avoid cutting your hands. The main shower only had extremely hot water for most of our stay. It did get fixed. The added on master bedroom AC never worked correctly. That room remained very hot during the day and cooled off with the door open and three fans running at night to make it somewhat tolerable to sleep. The property did not have a second refrigerator/freezer like the advertised listing stated, however, the property manager did act quickly and got a deep freezer delivered the next day. Some of the kitchen cabinets were loose or not closing so we fixed them to avoid damage being done, this wasn’t a major issue and a quick fix no reason to call or complain. Overall, we loved being in the keys and the property manger did the best she could at getting the major issues fixed, however, for the price you don’t expect major issues that can affect the enjoyment of your stay.
