Wonderful week!
Wonderful! Very clean, very nice linens, plenty of towels! Very well appointed kitchen, comfy beds. Plenty of room for our brood which includes three teens. Lovely pool.

House was nice. And very clean. We could have used a few more amenities in the kitchen. Anytime there was an issue mgt was on it immediately. Wished there were steps going to pool however that didn’t mess anything up just would have been more convenient.

Many little ants in house. Toilets kept breaking. Not enough dishwashing liquid. No laundry detergent. But the pool was great the dock was awesome. We had 3 different manatee swim up to dock to say hello

Marathon Excursion
A beautiful 4 bed 3 bath beach home nestled in the mangroves of the backwater canals. The wildlife was plentiful and diverse. The accommodations were delightful, aside from the lack of WiFi for half the trip, which was promptly fixed.

Communication/Directions Issue
This is owned by a property management company so not a lot of extras in the house. Minimum towels, laundry soap, dishwasher soap, sponges, paper towels, etc. Usually there is a printout of Directions with wi-fi code and other important information. All we got was a wi-fi code and dates of trash pick-up. No information on where to look for the key to unlock the bikes. Trash pick-up was an issue with it being full when we arrived from the previous guests and no instructions to take the trash to the roadside. It was an issue as due to COVID we were at the property more than on a normal vacation. Location is great, heated pool was wonderful to have, canal location ideal. Good rental property.

Good Times
We enjoyed our stay! The pool and outdoor living spaces were perfect for both fun and relaxation. There is plenty of outdoor seating. Grill worked great. Used the dock for a rented boat and fishing. Having the bikes available was another added bonus. We used them quite often for rides to Sombrero Beach and other places in the area. We were glad to have them but they could use a little maintenance- bit rusty, couple of low tires, sticky handle grips (I tried washing them with soap and water but that didn’t do the trick so they either need a stronger cleaner and more elbow grease or replaced with new ones). The house itself appeared clean upon arrival but we did find some dust bunnies and there was an off “stale” odor that we couldn’t identify. We immediately aired it out and used some lemon scented cleaners on surfaces and floors and we never noticed it again. Pictures of the house are an accurate representation. We never did locate a broom but the kitchen is otherwise well equipped. There are plenty of towels and that includes pool/beach towels. A couple extra blankets for those that appreciate an extra layer on the bed or to curl up in outdoors on chilly evenings/early mornings would be a nice addition. This was a last minute booking (less than a week before arrival). We received a confirmation that indicated information would be available the day of checkin. We had an early morning flight the day of arrival and we felt a little anxious because we had not heard anything more about the rental. There was no need worry, however. When we landed in FL all the information had been emailed and we had zero problems locating or accessing the home. It was a great week in the Florida Keys and this home’s features/location, along with good weather and fishing, and the many wonderful places to explore, made it that way! Thank you!

Bed bugs weren't the worst of it
Two of our 4 bedrooms were infested with some kind of bug that bit us during the night leaving medium sized itchy red dots in a row on us. From our internet research we assumed these were bed bugs, but even if they were not they were something horrible that caused us much duress. My other complaint would be that some of the amenities are offered are of such poor quality as to be useless. Bicycles have flat tires, there is no equipment for the bar-b-q, cooking utensils are so sub-par as to be rendered useless and lighting is glaring in the indoor and outdoor dining areas. So much of this would be very easy to manage and change. We got the sense that the property owners did not use this facility themselves, but only offer it a a money-making venture. In the future, I will be certain to communicate more with my hosts before booking, asking specific questions that allow me to understand their rental philosophy.
