“Cabin very private and well equipped. Only needed blinds for the front door. No small children in my stay but not terribly safe for small kids w drop off from deck and woody area. Didnt get to use all amenities but appreciated the availability in season. Road to get to cabin a little dicey-very narrow and steep at times. “A great place to stay with a responsive host. A great space for two couples/family to spread out in comfy gathering spaces in doors & out and have private sleeping quarters. A much quieter more peaceful stay than we have had in the past with almost no road noise. I do recommend double checking road conditions to hikes post Helene; we missed out on some not having 4wheel drive/high clearance. ”

“Cool and quirky place. Had a blast sitting at the fire pit making a fire and listening to the river. The house has a sense of bringing the outdoors inside, like “trees” with short branches, in several spots. It’s cool, but might be an issue for young kids or older visitors. The main room TV was a bit of a mystery. A ROKU stick was plugged in but neither (there were 2) Roku remotes worked. Downstairs bedroom tv worked fine. ”
