Fun in the Sun

It was an exciting and great vacation. The accommodations were wonderful, clean, as well as, all the necessary elements for cooking, cleaning, as well as, a view of the pool area which was fun to sit out in the patio and enjoy the sun and view. The pool was awesome, spent alot time there. Will come back next year for sure.

Great find for last minute geaway!

My husband and I wanted to do a quick getaway just before the holidays, and I literally booked this less than 1 week prior to arrival and WHAT a great find it was! We had never traveled to Marco Island before, but have friends who come every year. We knew that this part of the island as a good location and where we wanted to be for beach access. The condo was fully furnished for everything we needed, including beach cart, chairs, and cooler. The pool was heated too, which made it nice for a nice dip in the evening. The owner was terrific to work with via email and text prior to arrival and even while we were here. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because there isn't an ocean view/not on the beach. It was wonderful though having the private beach access (literally a 2 min walk from the condo door to the sand) and I appreciated that since the location is not on the beach. I would certainly stay here again

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I traveled to Marco Island to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The condo was very clean! The kitchen had everything that we needed to cook at home. The condo associate provided a grill in the pool area that we used a few times. There were lots of beach toys, chairs, an umbrella, and a wagon to take things to the beach. We loved being so close to the beach and while you could not see the beach/ocean from the condo, the beach was an easy 5-7 minute walk from our condo. The check in and check out process was simple and easy, although, we were sent a blanket email for our condo at checkout that didn't apply to our specific condo and that caused a little confusion.The managing property does an excellent job communicating check in, check out and even providing an app with things to do in the area. The only thing wrong with the condo was that the ice maker did not work but I am told that maintenance was to fix it. My wife and I would definitely stay at this condo again and plan to return to Marco Island with our family next year. We would gladly recommend Marco Island Vacation properties to help us find the right property for our next visit.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A friend and I stayed in one of the Beach Club apartments for what was supposed to be 3 nights. Due to the oncoming hurricane Nicole, we cut our visit short by one night.The location and property are excellent but the problems are with management company. Not knowing we had to check-in by 5:00pm sharp, we almost missed our check-in (they hand you the keys). I assume there would have been other arrangements made but we were made to feel like we were a bother when we arrived. But the biggest problem is with their payment policy. You must pay everything upfront when you reserve ($1150 in this case) and there are no refunds, regardless of the amount of notice you give or the reasons. To be fair, they do state this in their terms and conditions. But, as a result, our two-night stay was $1150. This is a nice property but not worth $575/night. Additionally, for that price, there are no services. You have to remove your garbage, strip the beds and they asked you to do the laundry. I do not recommend this property just based on their policies.

I had to walk 20 minutes, but I saved hundreds of dollars. The condo itself was fine. Everything was in working order except the WiFi, which was very intermittent.

Overall excellent experience! Loved the pool, room patio, and easy access to the beach! WiFi connectivity security outdated, and vertical blinds in the living room need to be replaced as many fell off every time we opened or closed them. Super clean apartment and grounds, very quiet and peaceful location - easy walk to beach or to restaurants - parking very easy and always plenty available!

We thought it was a very good location. We love the access to the beach, considering it rained , a lot while we were there …they did not have smart TVs. It doesn’t take much to upgrade your television to the bedroom was tiny TV and the living room was outdated and they should at least make that change. we appreciate the chairs. We appreciate the good service .

THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY!!

Nice outdoor amenities, newly painted exterior and clean, well-lit parking close to building. Clean, newly coated swimming pool (25’ from main road!) with clean, clear water. Nice screened in lanai. THE BAD:Towels threadbare and permanently stained WAAAY past their life. Dirty carpet in bedroom, also perhaps past it’s life. Hard floors were well-swept but sticky and a bit dirty, disguised by pattern in tile. So much dried yellow urine around toilet base at floor. THE UGLY: We would not have rented this unit if we knew there was a sign by thermostat saying you could not put A/C on below 70 degrees or coils would freeze up and fail. It was actually 72 degrees or lower. A/C would then only get humidity down to 67% at best so we were warm and sweaty trying to sleep. No ceiling fans. Worst of all, there was so much mold stink in vents and ductwork that the place smelled bad and gave us both wheezing/coughing/headaches. All instantly cured the day after we left.
