Great Spring Break 2021

We had a great time staying at the South Seas Tower 4. It was close to some favorite restaurants - Doreen's for breakfast and Joey's for lunch or dinner. We loved the wrap around balcony and views of the unit. One thing for families with younger kids should know is the rules are enforced by a pool guard lady. No jumping into the pool, no balls allowed, no splashing. These are rules I read and thought it wouldn't really be a problem but my 12 year old likes to play with a ball in the pool and likes to jump in...so the pool is pretty un-fun for younger kids. We ended up hanging out at a friends condo pool instead which is too bad. Great unit and nice stay overall but just be aware of the rules when renting.

Marco Islands

Marco Island is great, the location is great, it was a good vacation. The only problem we had was that the pool was closed from the minute we got there. It reopened for the last two days out of the seven that we were there. We had met some people while there, one of which told us that the pool was also closed for several days the week prior to our arrival. Seems like the VRBO owner should’ve had some knowledge of the issues with the pool. I reached out to the Vrbo owner and mention the situation. He stated that he heard that there was some kind of mechanical problem. I reached out to the owner again and ask for consideration for a partial refund which they ignored. Me and my fiancé feel like we experienced a loss since the pool wasn’t available the whole time. The VRBO owner was unwilling to share in the loss. We will not rent from this owner again.

South Seas 611

What a beautiful location! The balcony wraps around so that you can see Tiger Tail Beach and the Gulf. The walk to either is location on the is about a 1/2 mile of beach walking. Enjoy the adventure of crossing the Tiger Tail Lagoon or enjoy a walk directly to the Gulf. Upon arrival we had no dish towels or cloths, went and purchased our own, and the next day the laundry service dropped off towels and extra bedding, a little late for our purchase but none the less it was delivered. The internet did not work upon arrival, they came and replaced the router within 24 hours but it was still unreliable throughout the week. The condo was clean and we tried our best to keep the fresh herbs alive that were awaiting us on the kitchen table. The pool was clean, the sidewalks and boardwalks were well maintained. Thank you for a great week on the beach.
