“We had a lovely stay at Villa Mar & Sol. The location in Vale Navio is so quiet and peaceful, yet just a short drive from the busy center of Albufeira. The kids absolutely loved the heated pool and spent hours playing ping pong in the garden. The views of the countryside from the backyard are beautiful and made our morning coffee even better.”

“There was lots of space in this apartment for my family of 6 (with 4 teenagers)! The exterior of the property was under renovation, but apartment itself is fully renovated. Price was excellent for the amount of space. Apartment was further from the beach than we expected, but not a huge problem (as long as you are prepared to climb a hill to get back home). Nice restaurants within walking distance, definitely need to drive/Uber to get to Albufeira.”

“Nice property that served us well for the one night thay we wanted to stay here. The rooms are apartments with a small kitchen. The room was clean and had enough space for six for the one night. The central pool is nice and works well for a short period, but has limited attraction for longer periods. A strength of this property is that it is close to the beach, with it accessed by steps. This also has a beach restaurant which was nice. The intermarche supermarket is under ten minutes walk……

“Had a really good time there with my family. I actually booked another hotel in Sagres, but with much smaller space and poorer infrastructure. So I cancelled that one, and drove back again to Balaia hotel. Again the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There was also an indoor swimming pool nearby. Hotel staff was nice and helpful. Not to mention that the price is so attractive. Definitely worth it.”

“The apartment was clean overall and spacious, and the balconies were great with views of the golf course. Although I did not use it, the pool looked a good size and was popular with other guests. Plenty of free parking. Helpful staff the only slight negative is that there were ants in the apartment - which the hotel provided a ant spray. ”

“Loction: nothing really around the hotel, so you really need a car if you stay in this hotel. Hotel facilities: The hotel has really nice pools, my kids love the kids pools very much but the water was way too cold ( We were there at end of June). Service: We need to pay 1 euro for each beach towel we borrow from the hotel, also need to pay 10 euros for the security safe in our room. For how nice the Portuguese are, the hotel receptions are really not that nice and friendly. There was only one……

“Il y avait beaucoup d'enfants en bas âge et, comme nous voyagions avec des adolescents, les activités proposées n'étaient pas vraiment adaptées à leur tranche d'âge. ​De plus, l'isolation des chambres est à revoir : nous entendions beaucoup les bruits des chambres voisines et des passages dans le couloir. ​Malgré cela, le cadre de l'hôtel, la nourriture et la qualité générale restent très satisfaisants. Un grand merci à la personne de la réception qui nous a accueillis pour sa gentillesse”

“Loved almost everything about this property other than the bed was a little small and hard for my liking. Other than that the property is beautiful. The staff is polite and it’s just far enough out the way to be quiet. Uber cost €4 to old town. 100% will be back”
