This hotel is a gem in Mardin. The staff is nice and the environment is relaxing. All the facilities are clean and the hotel is located in the heart of the old Mardin. I definitely will go back.

Beautiful Hotel, Wonderful Staff

My partner and I stayed in the king suite, Maridin Room. It was a gorgeously appointed room and the hammam themed barhroom was delightful! The real crowning jewel was the palatial terrace. We felt like royalty being able to relax out there looking over the Mesopotamian plains. The staff were very patient and helpful with us using translation apps, as neither of us spoke much Turkish or Kurdish. While few of them spoke any english, we got along without any trouble. They were very kind! I highly recommend staying here!

Service was great. Staff handled check-in issue well after we were given the wrong room. The biggest downside was the noise. There was loud music from 8:30-11:00 PM every night, which was NOT disclosed in the hotel description. The rooms and windows are not sound proof, and the noise was very disturbing. The hotel should limit the hours of loud music or clearly state this beforehand.

An amazing place to stay! The hotel is a historic building and the rooms are very comfortable and clean, built in a beautiful Ottoman style with a fantastic view over the ancient city of Mardin. The staff were also really friendly and helpful, helping us park our car and telling us the best places to go. Highly recommended.

Best location

The location of the hotel is great and the experience of staying in a historical building is also very nice. It is very pleasant to listen to live local music at dinner every day of the week in the unique view of Mesopotamia and Mardin Castle. It would be nice to renew the hotel furniture. Very good place

It is an amazing hotel, perfect breakfast, and nice restaurant with an incredible view. The room are nice and very suggestive, there is only the need to change the pillows. My own were absolutly unconfortable. Overall it is really a super charming place.

Hotel is beautiful and well worth the price. Clean, safe and and delicious food at the rooftop restaurant, which provided a beautiful view. I loved that there is valet parking available despite it being such a small space to park. Valet men were very kind and professional. I really enjoyed the complimentary 24/7 chai/coffee available on site. Special shout out to Muhammad Bansi in the rooftop restaurant for always being so welcoming, kind and professional. Also, special thanks to Muhammad and Ahmed (young Syrian brothers) and to Muhammad (young Turkish man) in the cafe downstairs for being so incredibly nice, helpful and kind. These four men really made my stay memorable and special and went above and beyond. Thanks to Nejbir for calling my car rental agency twice and for being so helpful in giving recommendations. Promote them, please. The one downside of the hotel is that they advertised laundry services being available at the hotel, when this is untrue. There was no laundry or dry-cleaning service provided. The hotel should remove this "fact" from their hotels.com page as it is false information.
