「There were places like the fan blades that had not been cleaned in sometime. There is a light right next to the entry door and when you open the door to go in, the flying bugs storm in. There were also pots and pans etc. but no range or similar. The staff was very helpful and courteous. I love little mom and pop motels but this was a bit gross. I also had a ocean view room, the windows were so dirty I couldn't see out thru the hase. oh, the room is maybe 10ft off of probably the busiest street...

「The room booked had a kitchenette. Upon arrival we were informed there was no kitchenette available and that the difference in room price would be refunded. No refund was issued. The property appears to be very active with people who appear to be long term guests moving about, often including late into the night, engaging in conversation across balconies spanning several rooms. The room looked to be unfinished, exposed floor screws in concrete that would otherwise be covered by tile, a 1/4 gap...

「Our room did smell when we first checked in. I used room spray to help combat the smell. The front office thought it might have been the water the cleaner used to mop with. By the 2nd day the smell was better. The room is nice but I don’t like being on the 2nd floor and going up and down the stairs but apparently that is all they have available. The social hour in the evening is just okay, nothing exciting. And the breakfast is just okay too, nothing exciting. They do close the pool around 7pm...

「I was very disappointed with my stay. The room was dirty and poorly maintained. There were holes in the walls, which made the room look neglected, and the coffee pot didn’t even work. For the price I paid, I expected a clean, functional room. It was clear that basic maintenance and housekeeping had been overlooked. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel unless they make significant improvements.」

When you are charging $150 more than your neighbors do better.
