“Wifey and I celebrated our 20th anniversary there last year, liked it so much we went back again yesterday for 21st. Way cool ocean view king room was clean and comfortable.”

“I chose this hotel based on the photos online, but they were very misleading compared to what the property actually looks like in person. The room had a strong unpleasant smell and felt generally unclean. The furniture was old and worn down, and the entire space felt musty and not well maintained. The air conditioning also did not work well, which made the stay uncomfortable. Overall, the condition of the room did not match what was advertised, and it felt like the property is not being……

“There were places like the fan blades that had not been cleaned in sometime. There is a light right next to the entry door and when you open the door to go in, the flying bugs storm in. There were also pots and pans etc. but no range or similar. The staff was very helpful and courteous. I love little mom and pop motels but this was a bit gross. I also had a ocean view room, the windows were so dirty I couldn't see out thru the hase. oh, the room is maybe 10ft off of probably the busiest street……

“We enjoyed our time at the Embassy Suites in Saint Augustine! The room needs a bit of a refresher, but the overall stay was excellent. All employees were very helpful and friendly.”

For the price I paid, I expected a clean, functional room. It was clear that basic maintenance and housekeeping had been overlooked. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel unless they make significant improvements.”

“Our room did smell when we first checked in. I used room spray to help combat the smell. The front office thought it might have been the water the cleaner used to mop with. By the 2nd day the smell was better. The room is nice but I don’t like being on the 2nd floor and going up and down the stairs but apparently that is all they have available. The social hour in the evening is just okay, nothing exciting. And the breakfast is just okay too, nothing exciting. They do close the pool around 7pm……

“Room seemed clean but bathroom had a stench of urine I feel they could have cleaned better . House keeping does not come to check in if you need your room cleaned I assumed they would as in most hotels . I left early for the day and when I walked in it was as is . I needed new towels and more toilet paper and trash to be taken out unfortunately I came back to the same. My sons bed had a bug crawling inside under his sheets as we where about to check out I turned out the sheets to make sure……

“Staff was friendly and breakfast was a nice touch. My kids enjoyed the pool but it is very deep. Room was clean. We had an issue and it was fixed in a timely manner. The property as a whole needs some TLC but it is located less than 10 mins from the historic area.”

“The hotel is clean snd well maintained. But staff at front desk are less than helpful. They do not care and some what go with skin color i guess. Breakfast is ok same old tired things everyday. When you are charging $150 more than your neighbors do better. On top of it valet parking only option in a garage next door, thats $28/day, pathetic attempt to fleece customers as much as possible its a scam.
