"I have nothing much to say about the property itself, it’s as expected which is a pretty decent property. Definitely suggest staying if you want clean property, unpaid parking, good staff and a nice pool area. "

"Front desk person was pushy for the presentation even after I said no three times. Pillows too soft as I prefer a firm pillow. Mildred smell in my condo, like the AC unit was leaking into the carpet. "

"Billie Jean, Abby and Britney at the front were all wonderful and a pleasure to chat with. When we arrived, there was a long line and even though some people had zero patience, Brittney kept her cool and was still professional and warm. All the housekeeping staff were also lovely to connect with and always had smiles on their faces. The company has done a great job rebranding the hotel (I always stayed at the former Sandcastle before it was bought out) and the location is the one of the best. The staff at the on site restaurant were also friendly and welcoming. I also loved the stainless steel water bottles they provided instead of plastic. :) However, I do have a few suggestions. We only received 2 bath towels and definitely needed more. There was a large piece of wood in the bathroom that covered the sink pipes under the actual sink and it unfortunately fell on my child’s foot because it wasn’t fully screwed in. Coffee down in the lobby wasn’t made until later in the morning and it would have been nice to have it a bit earlier. Overall, it was a great stay for me and my 2 children! "

"Our room wasn’t ready at check in time, room floors were very dirty, bathroom was extremely small, walkways to rooms outside were very dirty with garbage and some food in the same location not cleaned up for 3 days. Pools has sand and debris floating in them. "

"Beds weren't comfortable, toilets were soooo low to the ground, everything was pretty outdated. We didn't know the water park wasn't open :( I don't think we would stay there again. "

"We had a good stay at Compass Cove. The units are getting a bit tired looking, but overall, we had fun and our room overlooked the beach, as promised. We had a couple minor issues with our room and the front desk dealt with them quickly. The corridors can be noisy at times and noise from above rooms is noticable. Next time, we'll look for something quieter, north of all the hoopla."
