Property and Rooms are in need of Maintenance and Updating. Trash not routinely removed from general area. No Housekeeping during our 4 day stay. Property was sketchy as all get out. Didn’t like how you had to get to the room. Room was not all that clean.checked in but didn’t even stay and checked out the next morning. The property is dated. Staff members were great!! But I just didn’t like the amount of people that smoked in their room. As soon as I entered my room it smells like weed. The balcony door didn’t locked and it was so hard to open and close.

The property was horrible. The pools were not well-maintained. The bedroom, stank, lots of wear and tear. The balcony door was hard to open. My daughter got stuck out there for a good five or 10 minutes trying to get in. The staff was very bad and all you can smell was weed. They were very rude would not do a refund so we end up having to stay. We didn’t have a choice.

Would never stay here again. Smell nothing but pot and urine. Nothing mentioned online about the $100 cash only deposit they make you pay, guy passed out in a chair right next to check in desk. Oceanfront room and we couldn’t even open the sliding glass door to get on the patio. Stains on bedding, floors nasty. Never again. Glad this was just a one night visit or I would be finding another hotel

It was run down, maybe it used to be a nicer place in the 90's but it needs a lot of paint and some deep cleaning! The 2nd floor hallway near the elevator smelled so bad. Check in was a nightmare, we got there early and our room wasnt ready. Went back at the tiem she told me to come back which was 4pm and the whole lobby was packed full of people. We werent able to get into our room until 6pm! The front staff was nice but they nee to get it together. No rooms were ready.

As you get out of your car you will be greeted by the pungent smell of weed. After speaking to the front desk clerk, was notified check in wasn’t until 4, as it was around 1pm. Was provided WiFi access as well as pool access. But wait! You must bring your own towels to use at the pool as they are not provided by the hotel. Utilized the pool for a little while and proceeded on with my day. Arrived around 4:30 to check in and was standing room only as myself and roughly 20 other guests were attempting to do the same thing. The hotel did provide some comedy while waiting as two guests began arguing over cutting in line to the point they were screaming obscenities and almost broke out into a fist fight! My children as well as others were quite entertained. Hotel staff carried on like a server at a bar fight as if nothing was happening. After getting to the desk, was notified my room wasn’t ready and wouldn’t be until about 6pm. Checked into the room: Holy not clean Batman! Floor was dirty, still had grit all over. Went to take a shower, was holding my breath as the black mold above the shower was starting at me. Shower head barely had enough pressure to push the water thru, and looks to be original to the room, from the 1980’s. Let’s not forget that they have limited parking and you must park either across the street or a block away. I’m sure everyone’s vehicles were closely being watched by every third as you walk away. Overall, terrible experience

Polynesian Beach & Golf Resort was untruthful in their advertisement of their property. The room had so much moisture that the ceiling pant was full of water and falling down, the floor was gritty, the curtains were dirty, and the sliding door to the patio was hard to open. The bed had plastic over the mattress that you could feel. The air conditioner unit was yellow in color, and the patio furniture was dirty. I need a full refund for my inconvenience

So first the rooms look nothing like the photos. Everything in and outside this hotel is out dated. The beds are not comfortable you need actual keys to get in out your room that all the doors look like all you need is a little shoulder power and your in. The floors and elevators looks like a scene out of a horror movie. Cash deposit you can’t get back if you check out before 8am. Mind you I checked in at 1:39 am, they can take your deposit after hours they just can’t give it back though after hours.

The property is very run down and getto. The chair in our room looked moldy where people have sat and outlets were coming off the wall. The site show a picture of their sign, that says Polynesian Beach and Golf Resort, it was photoshopped. The actual sign says Oceanfront Hotel. It is not a Resort! I was booked for 7 days, but stayed 1 night. The hotel does not use keycards, they use actual metal keys. (Which I dont have an issue with) The first night at 11pm, someone used a key to access my room, twice. The simple chain security would not have stopped them from getting in. I, a mom, was traveling with my daughter. We used a chair to block the door. I do not think it was hotel staff trying to access the room, I think they are repeating keys for different rooms. This is not safe! However, I do not know that for sure since I have yet to hear from a manager, I have called a couple of times. They keep telling me they are putting my not on deck, for the manager and I have to talk to a manager, who is never there or not taking calls. I also did not get a refund for my stay either. Since the manager is avoiding me, I do not expect I will see it The only reason they got 1 star, was I could not post a review without it.

When we arrived at the property the outside looked okay and then we got our room and I almost asked for a refund due to the room not being as advertised. I guess you get what you pay for. It reeked of marijuana smoke all hours of the day and night and just wasn't the best place to stay.
