"A nicely located hotel/motel with a view of the Bay for every room, as far as I know. Reasonable prices, mediocre breakfast; the one thing I really wanted was a screen in the sliding glass door so that I could enjoy the air coming from the bay. It's easy to guess that these oversized screens were broken again and again and management finally gave up. I would still like a solution to that problem."

"The property is fine. Beautiful decor. Very tall doors. Rooftop view is incredible. Staff was helpful and polite. Parking is not ideal. It is free but across the street at a public park."

"We liked everything about the hotel. The view of the harbor was great. We sat on our balcony and enjoyed it. The breakfasts were good and it was near all the restaurants on Main St. Short drive to sights in the area."

"Wonderful property in a quiet area. Our family enjoyed the water views and spending time outside around lush plant life. It was easily accessible from RKD airport and a fast drive into Rockland. We would stay here again and highly recommend."

"We absolutely loved this pre ious room. We were #16 on the ground floor facing the water and it was perfect. Beautifully decorated and serene. The only complaint was that the mattress was a little firm but we would stay here again. We had a little bonus room with another small bed and tv that was so cute for a child or small adult."

"We flung the Owls Head post office VRBO a very comfortable place to spend a week visiting Maine with our dog Rusty. It is very clean and comfortable and the General Store is very handy and serves delicious food, especially their blueberry pancakes and BLTs. We especially enjoyed siting on the back deck in the evening with sundowners, and the gardens are spectacular. We walked the neighborhood two or three times a day with our dog and everyone we met was friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this location for a restful stay in a very special place."
