“Larchwood Motel is well located. However it is severely lacking in up-keep and maintenance. Upon entering the unit it was smelly - stale alcohol/smoke. We opened up the room (it was freezing) for 15 minutes or so to air it out. The curtains are shabby and ill fitting on some windows. “Very small quarters, no opportuinity for laundry or stovetop but that's possibly in the listing and I missed it. Only problem with the hosts were the loud party music they had in the garage from time to time but otherwise a very easy and private environment so long as you can manage small spaces. Very clean, very comfortable and warm. Many cool light features and useable bathroom and 'kitchen' with a microwave. Would book again in future Blenheim trips!”

“The best features of this property are its location on Cuba Street, the 3 queen size beds and the kitchen. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The heat pump and space heaters in the bedrooms effectively warmed the unit up. The downsides are that the property is older and a little worn.
