The room was very clean and the staff helpful when I called, for instance, to ask about where I can park. Also, when I arrive to check in the lady on the bar walked him to my room and show me where everything was which was really nice.
Being a pub, and having a private function in the next room, inevitably there were some guests up later than others and the guests didn’t have much concern for other people sleeping – this is not the fault of the hotel of course.
Comfortable night’s sleep!
Given there was a café next door within the pub, it would be nice if there was a B&B rate that allowed us to have one of the breakfasts inclusive, but this wasn’t an issue, just an idea.

Disliked: Communication
When checking in, the first person i spoke with was brusque, and told me that the person who would check me in was at the other end of the bar, and not the person who I was talking to, who happened to be the owner/ manager of 11years. Just generally unfriendly, which I didn't need after a long car journey.
