"We are a group of 12 retired friends traveling first time in Tuscany. Villa Buonamici was the perfect accommodation for us. It is very close to the gate to the walled city center, literally only minutes away. The accommodations were exactly as described. Checkin/out was very easy and convenient. Our trip to Tuscany included stays in four separate locations and Villa Buonamici was by far our favorite. Do yourself a favor and stay at this Villa, you won’t be disappointed."

"10min walk to the nearest train station to get to other areas of italy such as florence and cinque terre. 15min walk to the tower of Pisa. Clean chalet, friendly & helpful staff, shop/cafe/restaurant on site. Kitchen area equipped with basics for cooking, there is no kettle,toaster, oven or microwave - just a 4 ringed gas hob which i feel could be improved more. Lots of mosquitos so ensure you pack repellant. Towels to hire. Good quality supermarket 10min walk away. I would definitely stay here...

"This was the perfect way to end our trip, with our young family as we spent pretty much the whole day in the pool! There isn't a great deal directly around the resort, so make sure you've stocked up on food before you arrive....although, it's not far to drive into Pisa if you need supplies! "It was horrible ! No heating (except for one room) no hot water!! We were not able to take our shower, wake up during the night as it was so cold. Run far away !!. I explained the situation to the reception the day after and they were so kind to reduce the price by 1/3. "

"We were a group of 7 and rented all 4 rooms in the building. We loved the private, remote location and the outdoor areas - such as the covered seating area next to the grill and games on the lawn! "The biggest issue that I had was the information that I received about the bus was totally misleading . It says there is a bus down the street… it’s a 10-15 min walk. "The spaces are great for larger groups to have space away and privacy for breaks. The pool and outdoor dining area was amazing. As expected, water pressure in these older homes can be inconsistent, but was not a problem. The home is a bit away from major highways, so day trips were a little more local driving, but didn’t limit us. Host family is nearby for support, but non intrusive and very accommodating. We had a wonderful dinner prepared our final night and everything was very hospitable."

"Franca's little house was absolutely charming and very well cared for. It was super clean and had all the touches of home, including flowers in vases, pretty pictures and ornaments and great storage space upstairs. The scenery was better than in the photos and the guides given to us by the host led us to some delicious meals. We spent a great deal of time sitting outside. "Our family spent a wonderful week in the Tuscan hills. Gianluca’s home is well appointed and very comfortable. The property is on the top of a Tuscan Mountain. The views are amazing! The property has a church dating back to 1005 and a wonderful restaurant run by Furio and his family. There were 8 adults and the home had plenty of room for all of us!
