Savannah Mary Calder Golf Club Hotels

"The staff was helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Had popcorn and punch available for guests in the evening. Everyday the hotel offered free drinks and appetizers from 4-5:30. Bradley our bartender was friendly and funny. One of the restaurants in the hotel was Broken Keel. Ernest was our waiter at night. He was awesome! We were disappointed for breakfast 2 mornings. The ran out of biscuits by 9 & 9:30. No biscuits and gravy for us."

"The air conditioner worked but the electrical was exposed, like the casing was missing. The wall had water damage that appeared to be painted over. The room itself was clean, but you could see damage to the walls and some poor repair work (caulking all over the door stop). It looks like they were doing alot of construction in the main lobby, it did not bother us much. The person working the front desk was friendly, but from a business standpoint I do not think she was the right choice. Several times she was sitting in the lobby on her phone. Valet was also very friendly, but sometimes nowhere to be found. It just did not seem like a professional environment. This is was my first time at this location, but second time booking Wyndham as a hotel. The experience was the same. I most likely will not book a Wyndham again."

"It was an absolutely lovely stay. The room was definitely mid-century modern with no detail left out. The room was very clean and it is centrally located right at the edge of the historic District. We would definitely stay there again on our next visit to Savannah."

"Lovely hotel in the heart of the Savannah historic district. Pool is small but a nice amenity as most hotels in Savannah do not have one. Workout room adequate. Hotel rooms are clean and nicely appointed. Staff are very attentive and friendly."

"The breakfast was fresh but there wasn't much I could eat other than the fruit and eggs because I grew up pescetarian. But everything was great. "

"There was a strong seafood odor lingering on our floor our entire stay, which was not pleasant. Outside also had a rough fishy smell to it. The bathroom was a little dirty and the shower tub didn't drain. The front desk was nice upon check-in and check-out, however. Not sure who there at check out, but she was very nice."
