「Amazing location on side of a mountain, looking out at the sea and the vinyard!! The buffet breakfast was filled with meats, cheeses, salmon, fruit and pastries. Delicious start to the day! The wines were also smooth and full-bodied. 10 stars!!! The view of Etna as you drive down the mountain is stunning! Staff was kind and helpful. Spacious, clean and comfortable accommodations.」

「⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Donna Rosa Hotel provided the best customer service we experienced anywhere in Italy and Sicily. The staff were amazing, friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and assisted us with everything we needed. They helped arrange a boat trip, assisted with laundry and luggage, and took the time to explain local customs and recommend wonderful places to visit. 「The hotel is in a lovely spot, overlooking the sea, but there is very little around and about…everything seemed to be shut (end of May). The rooms are nice, if a bit dated, and the pool area is clean and well kept. Only thing was the noise from the building work on site meant you couldn’t really relax easily on the sunloungers. Food was lovely - great breakfast.」

「Overall a nice stay. The property itself is very dated and needs a renovation/upgrade. But the service at breakfast, and the views from the upgraded rooms are great. Standard rooms are not great. Reception staff average. Gym needs more weights/equipment (but decent room). Some small improvements (aside from a total refresh/renovation) would make a huge difference.」

「this hotel is a treasure. The proprietor and his staff are wonderful and gracious. There is even a dog on site. Be aware it is not close to the beach by foot and is down the hill from Tower Meena so you need a car or will rely on taxis. You may be very glad you stayed outside of the city walls because it is calm and beautiful here.」
