"What a such a wonderful week at La Grange de Chatelus! We were three families (six adults, eight children) and we stayed for a week during August. The house is stunning, huge rooms, comfortable beds, amazing ensuites to all the bedrooms, multiple washing machines, tumble dryers and even two dishwashers. "Greeting from Karen & Richard was so nice. A lovely couple who presented the property so very well. The gardens were immaculate and brilliant for the kids and our dog. We had a fantastic relaxing week. Visiting a few beautiful chateau’s. Great location just a few miles from the motorway, in the fantastic French country side. So access to the surrounding towns and villages are easy."

"The good points - lovely pool, very peaceful, friendly neighbours and cats. The not so good points - bedrooms awful, could not stand upright, and access to open the windows difficult. No latching on bedroom door, had to be wedged shut. Little clothes wardrobe space. Not suitable for young children and older adults due to the 27 steps from ground floor to the bedrooms. Unpleasant fumes from the mower in the garage almost over-powering."

"Nous avons passé un excellent week end da,s cette maison bien situé ( on peut marché 40 minutes pour aller au centre ville de Limoges), la maison est parfaitement conçue avec différents niveaux qui permettent la coexistence des adultes d'adolescents et d'enfants plus jeunes. La propreté du gîte était parfaite. Margot qui nous a accueilli, a été d'une gentillesse extrême en s'adaptant à nos horaires d'arrivée et de départ. Nous avons déjà prévu de revenir !"

Breakfast was too high for our budget but we were offered a cheaper option which we declined as we didn’t know at what time we wanted it to be ready in the morning (we’re on vacation).
