“Older property, like most properties in Savannah. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Comfortable bed. The Live Oak Canopy room was nice. We had our own covered deck with pool view and the grand oak tree! It is pay parking , unless you’re lucky enough to get street parking.”

“The full breakfast and afternoon happy hour made our stay here truly wonderful. (Wayne in particular was a stand out during happy hour!) A memorable visit to Savannah and The Marshall House was a big part of the reason why we enjoyed it so much. We had a balcony room and it was a unique experience to climb out and rock on those chairs overlooking Broughton Street. Can’t wait to go back!”

“The corner room is noisy at night- there were many people gathering near the hotels till 1 or 2 am and you could hear them. There was an Irish bar across from the hotels which you would hear the music playing at night. There was coffee stain in the carpet of the room I stayed.
The hotel has good hospitality and the bed was comfortable.

“Nice bed and good breakfasts. However, hated the spray spigots in the shower, the BR window frame was rotting, and just did not like the Bathroom at all; the AC vents were grossly dirty/molded throughout. The downstairs lobby area was very nice but everything in it’s entirety needed a good cleaning.. I would not recommend it.”

“Well, I love historic Savannah, and the 1790 inn was perfect. We were in a building outside the actual inn, which suited us perfectly. Especially the private parking space! LOL
My wife loved the tub, and I used the shower. The parlor on our floor was private to us, and we used it a lot. All of this in an absolutely perfect location. And the manager was a delight as well.”
