“Great little house just a short walk from the beach. Based on a prior review, we took our own grill. It would be nice to have one. Also based on a prior review, we took our own drinking water. It is an island, so go prepared. It’s not too busy on this section of the beach compared to others. Our granddaughter appreciated the short walk to the beach. We did take our own beach cart, but there was one there. The neighbors were friendly and the area is quiet. Overall a great stay.”

“Great location. Quiet area. Short drive to Matagorda Bay and Palacios. It is great for nature lovers and people wanting a quiet place to veg out. If you are looking for more "resort type" may not be for you.”

“The location was great. Over all, it was a great stay. The only negative would be, a little more attention/detail to cleaning. The bathrooms looked as though someone got distracted while cleaning and didn’t quite finish cleaning the commodes. We took care of it and moved forward with a fabulous time.”
