The stay was very very stressful. Our room had an air conditioning which would not turn off. Called front desk 4 times before a lady came to supposedly fix it. She could not understand one word of English, could not help us until we told her to get a maintenance man. It was like this during our two nights stay there. Would never recommend anyone or ever go back there again.

Great location and amenities, including the Sky Spa and breakfast room, both of which have great views. Our room was a bit larger than most in this category - only challenge was that the bathroom ventilation was a bit low so drying took a long time.

This modern hotel is very conveniently located for trams and shopping, (it’s not near the jr train station) and the castle grounds are a very short walk away. Breakfast was good and different every morning. The onsen was ok, but smaller than expected and often quite crowded. It’s nice that you can get tattoo covers (up to about 6” x 6”) from reception, but be warned that the glue is quite strong! If you prefer private bathing, the bath in my bathroom was really deep and comfortable for someone with long legs. The laundry room was very convenient (it’s not free) but was very steamy and it was hard to get the clothes dry. This is a nice hotel and I would stay here again.

The location was great! Everything was walkable. The bed was comfortable and bigger than we thought. But a fan in the bathroom wasn’t working well.

気になったこと
スタッフの方たちの対応は丁寧で、快適に滞在してますが、何点か気になるところがあり、書きます。 ①大浴場利用中にスタッフの方が何度かいらしたのに、特に掃除をすることなく出ていかれた。髪の毛もいっぱい落ちていて、気になったので自分で床をはきました。 ➁館内を部屋着(スリッパも)で移動したり、朝食を食べに来ている方がいましたが、部屋着での移動をダメならダメでしっかりと対応をしたほうが良いと思います。
