"This is the perfect definition of a small english town stay. I loved the vibe of the rooms and the location. The rooms were clean and they provide complimentary biscuits and tea. The customer service was good as my boyfriend needed to catch a taxi somewhere and couldn’t do it himself so the Inn was able to call for him. The breakfast felt a bit pricy, but there was a cold buffet in addition to any hot item on their menu. Their fresh honey comb was really cool!"

"The lady at the reception was so nice and sweet up for a chat. The hotel very modern and sparkling clean throughout. The room was huge. I absolutely loved it and I cannot recommend it enough"

"Our room was lovely, suitably large with 2 good wardrobes and a light over the dressing table mirror. The mattress was very comfortable and table water was always available. Breakfast was served in the conservatory with a lovely view of the enclosed garden. We ventured away from the Full English to try the omelettes which were delicious! The owner, Noorani Willamson is charming, chatty and very knowledgable about the surrounding area."

"Had an enjoyable stay. It is a lovely quaint cottage, parking was sufficient for two cars (an estate and hatchback). Generally clean but a few things were missed or could have been cleaner. We also had a bit of trouble opening and locking the doors might have been user error or possibly the weather? Despite the above we had a nice time"

"We had 4 nights at Woodlander and found it to be a charming and practical space. The property is clean and well laid out with good kitchen facilities, a spacious lounge, 2 good-sized bedrooms and a very good bathroom with large shower cubicle. A couple of car parking spaces really helps too. Decor and furniture in the lounge creates a very homely effect and in general accommodation is possibly better than expected. Pauline’s communication was helpful as were the numerous leaflets about places of interest to visit in the area. This property was ideal for our visit and we would certainly stay there again. Many thanks Steve & Jill"

"Compact rooms, located in yard behind the pub, a little noisy around closing time, all quiet after that, not a problem unless you are planning an early night. Shower clean, good flow and hot, biscuits with the tea and coffee, twin beds comfortable but we booked a double room, suggest ringing before arrival to confirm selection. Reasonably priced, would recommend if staying one or two nights."
