Nice location

Great views of the mountain; large and spacious home. One bed downstsirs was broken, but we had enough to accommodate our group that we able to avoid it. Neighborhood was nice and proximity to resort was very convenient

Fantastic stay for our girls getaway!

There were 6 of us and we had a great time. The host was great at getting back to us when we had questions. Also a great area if you like wineries and breweries. We visited 6 a day for 3 days and were never disappointed.

Nice location but would not rent again. House needs an overhaul (paint, carpeting, smart tvs, several light fixtures have bulbs out).

Not as Happy Homecoming

This home is very much outdated, the shower curtains were dirty/moldy, the kitchen sink faucet was loose, not all windows were covered with curtains, more bugs in this house than we have ever experienced staying in Massanutten, the tv connection was not clear and we could not access some basic channels, the garage room needs an additional heater to combat the different insulation, one of the beds in the lower level is probably going to break despite being made for two adults.

Comfortable for a large group

Great place for family weekend with lots of space. The house could use some attention as there are numerous structural and cosmetic issues. The deck is sketchy for sure. Raccoons visiting the deck at night was fun entertainment.

Comfortable stay in the mountains

My family stayed here for my daughter’s JMU graduation. The house is very cozy and spacious and we were all quite comfortable. we had a small issue with the tub that was rectified within hours. if I were to stay again, I would bring some items such as garbage bags (we couldn't find any other than the one), toilet paper (glad we brought some), dawn dish soap, sponge and sugar/sweetener - those items we had to buy surprisingly. Towels were provided which was sweet! Cable TV was appreciated.

Family Winter Trip

This house was spacious enough for our large blended family. The fenced in backyard is a huge plus, the fireplace was awesome. There are minor things that could be fixed eventually but it wouldn’t prevent me from booking again. Thank you for the hospitality and open communication!

Beautiful views!

The house was wonderful and everything we expected. We had plenty of room for all of us. We all enjoyed the Fall trees and seeing the deer walking around. It was so nice to have everything within a few minutes drive. The Campfire Grill has awesome food and the atmosphere is so comfortable. The kids enjoyed the Water Park and all it offered. Would come back for a visit and thank you for opening up your house for us.

Weekend get away

I have a group of friends, we all love the house, and we all are enjoying our weekend getaway. There is a big space for a group like me. But when i get in to the house the floor is a bit dirty i couldn't find and supplies for cleaning only one broom and there is a water leak from the rain into on of the room. Overall we are really enjoying our time at the house. Looking forward to go again next year. That would be great if the person who's responsible for communication replies the phone calls faster than this.

Had a great time outside of the cabin

Had several issues with the home, brought to host’s attention with no resolution. Keurig, washer, dryer, and jetted tub didn’t work at all. Several tvs were missing their remotes. As a family with several small children and doing snow sports, this meant several trips to the laundromat, and an inability to relax after snowboarding in a hot, jetted tub. Coffee maker and shower liners and showers had mold in them. Lockbox for key was broken so we had to leave the key under the mat as people were coming and going so no one was locked out. The home was very poorly cleaned and maintained, as someone who cleans vacation homes for a living I would be ashamed if this was how I cleaned a home someone spent their hard earned money and vacation time on. We had loads of fun snowboarding, tubing, and hiking in the area, but our time in the cabin was not at all desirable.

in Spite of the gravel drive way and the compressor going out we had fun

The house was lovely! We enjoy the house. Our refrigerator went out and we had to buy bags of ice to keep our uncooked food from spoiling . We had no where to keep our cooked food from going bad. The drive way is not pave and our trucks got stuck on the gravel . The only way we could get our trucks out of the gravel drive way was to ride on the grass, which we were not supposed to do. So we parked our 4 vehicles along the road side and the officer told us to make sure that the tires were off the road. Which we did . The house we enjoy !

Not as Expected for Money

This house was a good size for our group Homecoming weekend so everyone was able to have their own room. However, some issues - we found out via the check-in instructions and directions email that no towels (bath or hand), garbage bags, paper towels, toilet paper, dish or hand soap would be provided...we brought those items but still for the money we paid I’d at least expect a roll of toilet paper per bathroom and bath towels. Additionally, the master bathroom shower head is pretty gross because of hard water build up so very low flow/water pressure. Also looked like mold in shower so gave overall impression things weren’t clean. Very thin blanket on master bedroom bed. Couldn’t find additional blankets unless borrowed from other rooms. Expected more for the amount of money paid for two nights. Hotels charge less and have towels, hand soap and toilet paper.
