“Beautiful location and lovely cabin”

“We fish this area a couple times a year and this place is perfect for a couple of guys who fish 12 hours days for 3 days and need a clean place to sleep. Staff has alway been great, and rooms always clean, don’t leave any thing your car of value, because it won’t be there in the morning. ”

“Amazing experience right outside of the Redwood Forrest park. You literally get to sleep surrounded by Redwoods! The town of Trinidad was beautiful less than a mile away and full of little restaurants and shops. The sunset on the coast was a must see and something we will never forget ”

“My boyfriend and I stayed here when we needed a room last minute on a road trip — the room was immaculate (I’m a bit of an germaphobe especially when traveling), the bathroom/shower was SO nice, and the woman at the front desk was sooo kind. We were so blessed to find this place!”

On their recommendation, we ate dinner at the Humboldt Bay Bistro, which was delightful and very tasty. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here, just be sure to read the fine print! I was surprised to realize the bathrooms were shared; not a problem, as all three were clean and wonderfully appointed after all.”

“First impressions when pulled up was this Motel is not safe. Homeless all around. This motel was very old and decapitated. It looked like homeless was housed in this motel. I saw a questionable man walking down the hall with his dogs and his room door left open. Looked like he had been staying there for a long time. No physical human at front desk, only a computer screen, I asked to see the room they were trying to give me and he didn't seem to want to. I eventually got to inspect the room……

“The place was very clean, host were very friendly and accommodating, the view......THE VIEW from our room (same view from common area and yard) was spectacular. There is a huge rock with easily a hundred sea lions. You can hear them bark! You can see them with the naked eye but not great. They have binoculars for you to see them better. The waves, sea lions and very close to sue-Meg state park (had a lot of coastal trails that are a must, they provided a great synopsis on all the trails in the……
