The home is just as described on the site and the owners went above and beyond to make sure you have all the comforts of home. Would recommend for anyone needing a quiet retreat. The small town of Floyd, VA is a great place to walk around and enjoy unique shops and dining experiences during your stay and is only 3 miles from the property. "

"We enjoy finding unique experiences when booking a stay away from home. Stayed one night in the “Daisy” Host has curated a collection of vintage trailers all set on a hillside overlooking the swim pond. We enjoyed watching the birds and right at sunset two heard of deer came to visit. Perfect set up for the two of us. Sofa and bed were comfortable. Floyd was fun to explore. We plan on returning to stay in one of the other units soon. "

"This home could be straight out of Southern Living magazine! The curb appeal and interior design are stellar! It is obvious that heart went into this home!! Additionally, the location was perfect to enjoy all of the Andy Griffith fun, which were all also great! Be sure to do the squad car tour, Snappy’s, Barney’s cafe, Floyd’s, the courthouse, Wally’s, downtown, and take your time in the museum to view the slide show and read all the things. Dinner at 13 Bones was delicious! The only local location that was a little disappointing was The Derby. We had an amazing time and the home made it over the top perfect!! Thank you for having us!"

Excellent Budget Motel

"This motel delivers exactly what you’d hope for at a budget price point. While it’s not luxurious, it covers all the essentials extremely well. The room was thoughtfully furnished and included a fridge with a small freezer compartment. Everything was spotless, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. Parking right outside the door made things very convenient. Despite being right off the highway, the room was completely quiet with no traffic noise. The WiFi and cable TV worked flawlessly, and the air conditioning kept the room cool without being noisy. The 24-hour coffee was a welcome bonus. All of this came at a very affordable rate."

"We absolutely loved our stay. The hosts were so sweet and the host cat was the purr-fect little bright spot to each morning. He always greeted us coming and going. The cabin is in a very nice location and is very nicely decorated. We would love to come back if we are in the area again."

Clean, comfortable, great price and pet friendly

"Great place for an overnight stay. Very reasonably priced and we loved that there was no charge for our dog. We have stayed here before as it is “ halfway” on the trip we make often to visit our previous “home.” We will stay here again. Only negative (and it was minor) is that the pet walking area needed mowed."

Moo Meadows Cabin

"I can't say enough about the peace and quiet i experienced this week. The cabin is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It has been a while since i got such a great night sleep. The shops in Meadows of Dan were quaint and had some neat stuff. If you don't want to drive at night take food with you. They have dang near everything to prepare a meal.I already sent the link to several friends and family recommending this cabin. Tristi was great in communicating with me and made me feel very welcome. Thanks again for a great week.Plenty of outdoor trails, wineries, breweries, Blue Ridge Pkwy, scenic overlooks. Might not be for everyone but the 58 expansion they are doing is impressive. They are moving a lot of earth to make this area more easily accessible. "
