We had a lovely time at the cottage! Thanks! The view from the deck overlooking the beach is terrific. Everyone had a great time A couple of items to note: The refill valve in the toilet in the upstairs bathroom needs adjustment (continues to run unless tank lid is removed and valve is manually pushed down); it would be great to have an anti-slip mat for the shower/tub and a handrail on front porch; a bold notice in property details, emails, etc. Indicating that there is no cellphone coverage at the cottage (!)...that came as a BIG surprise!

Sunset Escape is a perfect name!

Very clean, well kept property in a great location. Million dollar view. Spectacular sunsets and nice open beach to walk as far as you like. The hosts were very helpful with a question we had while there. For people who have a difficult time with stairs, this might not be ideal. There are no handrails on entree steps or going up to the second floor. It is a beautiful place.

Michigan beach house

The view from the deck, and the beach is wonderful for kids and adults, with plenty of beach to walk for miles. The house was very clean and the main room upstairs is wonderful, there is also an outdoor shower. There is no air conditioning which is fine as long as temps are less than 80. There is no gas grill, only charcoal. The room with bunk beds is very small and hot probably suitable only for small kids. The kitchen is small and poorly equipped and the fruit flies inside were numerous Overall we enjoyed our stay but very expensive for what you get in the house.

Beautiful property

I’ve been going to Silverlake Sandunes for over 40 years and have never stayed in that area. I wish I would’ve known how beautiful it was back there I would’ve stayed many more times there The area is very secluded. The beachfront is to die for. And the patio shows the property the way it should be The accommodations in the house Very comforting As if I was at my own home, the host was excellent
