“This was our first time at a property like this. This really gave you a semblance of camping - our tent was in the middle of a meadow but there were others towards the edge near the trees if that was your choice. It was family friendly. The food was much better than we expected. There was live music (we could have done without) but it kept all the young ones entertained. The desk staff was very welcoming and were always available. There was no cell service and no internet. But the facility has……

“The hotel's Wi-Fi caused me a lot of trouble. It connected automatically without needing to connect but I couldn't use it. What's more terrible is that it also blocked the data signal of our mobile phone. The second point of dissatisfaction is that there are ants on the bed and floor. The third point is that there are many people during breakfast service, and milk can only be obtained by queuing in the buffet area. There should be milk in the coffee area.”

“We booked 6 rooms for our group for a 2-night stay at Mainstay Suites Gatlinburg. While the hotel looks fairly new and the rooms are equipped with convenient kitchen amenities like a stovetop and full-sized refrigerator, our overall experience was quite frustrating.
First, even though we were told the hotel was completely sold out, having our group of 6 rooms scattered across 4 different floors was very inconvenient for us.
Second, the kitchen setup had severe functional issues. On our last……
