The Hotel Windsor was a fantastic place to stay , it had pleanty of charm and all the immediate ammenties you could want. The breakfeast was always a fantastic start to the day and the Crickters Bar was a nice conclusion. The location is ideal for access to public transport.

They need to repair the floor around the elevator entrance on ground floor and straighten the paintings hanging crooked in the lobby. A hotel of this stature needs to be super vigilant of the detais. Housekeeping was excellent and prompt, breakfast was excellent. We will come back.

I've always enjoyed my stay here. Already know what to expect. Elegant, charming, close to Princess theatre, Imperial hotel for pub/bistro food, the historical Parliament building is right opposite the Windsor. Trams along Spring St., in between Bourke, Little Collins & Collins St. not far for either walking, discovering lovely eateries, trams that would take you right into the cbd & as well as inner suburban areas. There's also a cinema, Kino on the basement of the Sofitel on Collins St. High tea is a must & very lucky that we came on a bottomless HT day!

Beautiful old building. Staff are helpful and professional. Enjoyed your stay. One thing annoyed us at breakfast was that we had to ask several times for pastries. They were delivered after we had finished our cooked food. However, the choice of cooked breakfast and quality was excellent and served in a timely manner. Tea and coffee had a good range and choice as well.

This was an experience, if you want up to date modern this hotel is not for you , this hotel was a fantastic experience walking up to my room there was a gentleman playing the piano and the breakfast and high tea were excellent, with the staff wearing maid’s outfit of yesteryears and memorabilia all around, it felt like I stepped back in time .
