Great cafe for breakfast and lunch. Superb Italian restaurant around the corner at The Kinson Hotel-Vivi. In a great neighborhood with several dining options. A Woolworth grocery was walkable. Very close was Fawkner Convenience which carries everything you need.

Great location near Albert Park Lake (with running track!) Sauna on roof for recovery. Easy walk from tram line with frequent trams passing by. My room was set back from the road which kept it quiet (Queens Rd is a major thoroughfare). Lovely reception staff. Great cafe on ground floor (Mr Percival). Studio apartment yet had fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher!! Balcony too.

Clean, safe and beautiful apartment hotel

Very comfortable apartment hotel. We enjoyed our stay here as a family with 2 young children. Very safe neighborhood. Gorgeous views from the swimming pool rooftop. It was too chilly for us to swim when we went but pool is stunning. Also, the cafe (Mr. Percival) on the first floor served really good food if you don’t feel like cooking! Tyrian is not located in CBD. The area around Tyrian (Albert Lake Park) is beautiful and quiet. You have to walk a few blocks for food and the trams. You would need to have a car or take an uber if you want to buy groceries. Melbourne CBD is about 25 minutes away on the tram and about 15-25 minutes away in an uber (depending on traffic). Trams are really easy to access and use here and we did frequently with our kids. Tyrian is a really good option if you want to be near CBD but in a quiet area for your family.

Clean room, great shower, comfortable bed, very adequate rooftop gym w killer views. The cafe downstairs serves delicious coffee and breakfasts. Only downside is that the rooms look right into another building so I kept the shades drawn most of the time. If you’re there mostly at night it’s no big deal.

Everything. This place was a delight to stay at. The room we had was spacious and had all the amenities needed. The outside terrace was very useful and the beds were super comfortable. The only vise was the car parking allocated was very narrow lots amongst the other cars.

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment with views over Albert park . The apartment was lovely, spacious and clean with a bathroom for each bedroom a bonus. Lovely dining area for social interaction. However there was no hot water in either bathrooms, in the shower or sink. Reported to reception but not resolved for our overnight stay. The noise from busy Queens Rd can be heard from front bedroom so those not used to city traffic noise may have difficulty getting to sleep. Parking is also extremely tight, made difficult with limited turning space. Good central location, friendly staff and easy check in and out.

Love the room and friendly staff. However, the phone wasn’t working and had to go to ground floor to speak to the staff. As the apartment was beside the road, it was rather noisy even in the middle of the night. Would be great if could soundproof the glass doors.

Our stay at Tyrian Apartments in Albert Park was great, and felt very luxurious. The rooms are sizable and well appointed. The bedding and bed is great. The shower is great and comes with Kevin Murphy hair and body products. The rooftop pool is a hidden gem and so beautiful with views over Albert Park Lake, the Bay and city. The onsite parking is very handy and very close to St Kilda Road trams. Highly recommend!
