「The Avli Lounge apartments are beautiful! We stayed in the Candy Suite for about four days. As mentioned in several reviews, location is excellent, and we were able to walk everywhere. Both Stelios' and Nickos were always available and helpful for everything. Do note that there is no elevator as the hotel is in Old Town and they preserve the structures. 「While we were there our son went into medical distress. The staff at the store and the reception desk were absolutely amazing. So kind, caring, and thoughtful. My son and I didn’t get to finish our stay there but they sent food packages with the rest of our family for our hospital stay. At the end of the day, a hotel is just a hotel….it’s the staff and people that make the experience. 10/10 experience. 」

「Great location across from beach. 7eur taxi ride from bus station if u don't want to walk. Big rooms with balcony looking out to road and beach. Old town is mins away and either directions leaving hotel you will find lots and lots of tavernas. The host was very helpful in arranging a taxi for us for early departure to Heraklion to catch ferry since Ktel bus ride was cutting it close. Although bus ride is much cheaper and coach is really comfortable it costs 80eur by taxi for about 1:10mins...

「I’ve been to Greece many times before, but this hotel made this trip my favorite. Hotel is set in a beautiful surrounding overlooking the ocean, the two pool areas were amazing, with plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas. Room was spacious, clean, and well appointed. 「Don’t let initial lack of kerb appeal when arriving put you off. This is a fantastic place to stay. Staff who love their jobs, a chef whose menu draws locals to eat in the evenings, super comfy beds in rooms and on the beach which is also on your doorstep. Highly recommend!」

「We stayed here for a 5 night holiday, looking for a totally relaxing stay. Seascapes was the perfect place for us. The deluxe pool-view apartment was spacious, with a small kitchen which was great if you want to save on eating out every meal. Particularly as there are several supermarkets within a couple of minutes walk, with fresh ingredients. We loved making our own Greek salads for lunch on the balcony (with ouzo of course!). 「Summer Dream was the best hotel we could ask for. It was extremely modern, great view, and the town of Rethymno has a wonderful downtown area. If you go, I recommend Achinos, I believe it is spelled. The best food we had in Greece. Summer dream is also located next to many markets including SKYNKA, which is walking distance. I would absolutely recommend staying here. It was the best part of our trip in Crete. 」
