“I loved everything about this hotel. After speaking with Tamsyn for several months, she (and the rest of the staff!) made sure my visit was exactly how I wanted. The food was spectacular. “It was nice to have the space at Villa Moyal, but with everything around you surrounded by high fences, razor & electric wire, I was not excited to walk at night. I would have rather stayed a few blocks away, closer to the restaurants and shops of Melrose Arch. ”

“Water does not drain from shower, easy fix, but spoils stay”

“The room was large and had all the amenities, but we didn't use the kitchen as we only stayed 2 nights. The room was noisy - busy roads and single-pane windows? Around the property, things seemed to be in a state of reconstruction, so walking along the sidewalks, especially at night (poor lighting) was hazardous. We were charged for the room even though I had prepaid, although they did reverse the charge before we left. We found the front desk person we dealt with a bit hard to understand as he……

“One of the most beautifully decorated buildings I've ever visited. Everything is made with attention to detail, and the color combinations are so vibrant. Staff was friendly without invading our space. I also liked that they seemed to have interns training while we were there. One small complaint: the shampoo and shower wash in the bathroom are unreasonably high. A child that's old enough to shower alone may have trouble reaching.”

“Loved it at Royal majestic. The location was perfect - attached to the rosebank mall, next to the Gautrain stop in a safe area. The room was big, gym was great and breakfast was amazing”

“馬桶坐墊已被破壞，入住時沒有維修，電腦椅輪子(5輪)其中一輪已被拔除，無法坐穩，浴室兩水龍頭皆無法有效控制水量，一定要開啟最大量，造成水噴四處，入住兩夜其中一天交代櫃檯前往打掃未果。”

“The staff are impeccable and attentive from the front desk to cleaning staff. The food there is good as well. There's no pork (it's Halal) which also means no bar or alcohol, this can be remedied by going to buy your own or getting an Uber drop off. My one complaint is the bathroom sink...it's so narrow that you get water everywhere when you turn it on. If you're coming from America bring wash cloths, they're not a thing in South Africa.”
